If you are having a winter wedding you aren’t limited to “Christmas” (red & green) or “Winter Wonderland” (white silver and blue). Instead think gorgeous mountain cabin; think hunting retreat in Telluride or ski lodge in Vail.
Dear friend of the Dish, Vicki Sanders at Branching Out Event Florist inspired this post with her knock my socks off gorgeous table for a recent style shoot hosted by Perfect Wedding Guide at Cheekwood Museum and Botanical Garden here in Nashville.
What you can’t see in this image is the that the ivory cloth was layered over an amazing deep purple velvet cloth. Wow.
One of the things that set this place setting apart is the use of smoky glass chargers and gold silverware. (yes, your rental company has them, just ask) These were provided by Music City Tents and Events. Also noteworthy are the place cards from Designs in Paper.
Don’t stop at the table decor.
I found these pinecone place cards on Wedding by Color.
I even found this ring bearer pillow on Etsy in MinSvenskaLandgard‘s shop in the My Swedish Farmhouse Rustic Wedding Decor collection.
So forget everything you thought you knew about winter decor and dream big!
